Community Involvement

A great community makes a great school. When international teachers feel part of a tight knit community, they become better teachers. This makes our classrooms better, our school better, and in the end, students learn more. With that in mind, I organized many different types of events at Korea International School.

KIS Cup - Planned, organized, and executed a biannual staff golf tournament. It attracted around 30 participants each time, with many describing the tournament as their favorite event of the year.

Bowling Bonanza - Organized a bowling tournament twice a year that attracted over 30 participants each time. A close second to the KIS Cup.

KIS Scavenger Hunt - Planned, organized, and executed four hours worth of puzzles and challenges for 15 teams, over 100 participants, and 20 volunteers all around the city.
